Fred Rao founded eChineseLearning in Beijing in 2006. His own awareness of poor traditional teaching methods forced him to work non-stop to improve Chinese instruction. His solution is one of ingenuity and simplicity – Chinese lessons based on the students' needs. He once said, "We held a very simple belief when we started the school – to spread Chinese to every corner of the world through the Internet.
