In the previous issue, the story ended with “At that time, a wolf came…” Let’s see what happens next:
Láng láidào zhū lăodà de fángzi qián, yī kŏu qì jiù bă zhū lăodà de căofáng chuī dăo le. Zhū lăo dà zhĭnéng xiàng zhū lăosān de zhuāntóu fángzi păo qù.
1. 狼 来到 猪 老大 的 房子 前，一 口 气 就 把 猪 老大 的 草房 吹 倒 了。猪 老 大 只能 向 猪 老三 的 砖头 房子 跑 去。
The wolf came to the eldest pig’s thatch cottage and blew it down. The eldest pig then ran to the brick house for help.
Zhè zhī láng yòu lái dào zhū lăoèr de fángzi qián, hěn kuài jiù bă zhū lăoèr de mùfáng yě chuī dăo le. Zhū lăoèr yě zhĭhăo xiàng zhū lăosān qiújiù qù le.
2. 这 只 狼 又 来 到 猪 老二 的 房子 前，很 快 就 把 猪 老二 的 木房 也 吹 倒 了。猪 老二 也 只好 向 猪 老三 求救 去 了。
The wolf came to the second eldest pig’s log house and blew it down. The elder pig also ran to the brick house for help.
Láng zhīdào nà jiān zhuāntóu fángzi lĭ yŏu sān zhī zhū, kěshì zěnme yě dăbùkāi zhè jiān yòng zhuāntóu gài de fángzi. Zhè shí, láng kàn dào le fángdĭng shàng de yāncōng. Yú shì, tā jiù zhŭn bèi cóng yāncōng pá jìn fángzi lĭmiàn qù.
3.狼 知道 那 间 砖头 房子 里 有 三 只 猪，可是 怎么 也 打不开 这 间 用 砖头 盖 的 房子。这 时，狼 看 到 了 房顶 上 的 烟囱。 于 是，他 就 准 备 从 烟 囱 爬 进 房子 里 面 去。
The wolf knew there were three pigs in the brick house but failed to open the door. He found there was
a chimney on the roof and decided to go inside the house from the chimney.
Sān zhī zhū hěn tuánjié yě hěn cōngmíng. Tā men jiù zài fángzi lĭ shāo qí huŏ lái. Cóng yāncōng lĭ màochū de huŏmiáo shāojiāo le láng de wěiba. Láng xià dé zài yě bùgăn lái zhăo sān zhī xiăo zhū le.
4. 三 只 猪 很 团结 也 很 聪明。 他 们 就 在 房子 里 烧 起 火 来。 从 烟囱 里 冒 出 的 火苗 烧焦 了 狼 的 尾巴。 狼 吓 得 再 也 不敢 来 找 三 只 小 猪 了。
The three pigs were quite united and smart. They made a fire in the house and the flame of the fire from the chimney burnt the wolf’s tail. Since then, the wolf dare not came to the pigs’ house any more.
Zhū lăodà hé zhū lăoèr yě cóng zhè jiàn shìqíng zhōng xīqŭ le jiàoxùn. Tāmen yě gěi zìjĭ gài le jiāngù de zhuānfáng, bìngqiě cóngcĭ hěn nŭlì de gōngzuò, guò shàng le xìngfú de shēnghuó.
5. 猪 老大 和 猪 老二 也 从 这 件 事情 中 吸取 了 教训。 他们 也 给 自己 盖 了 坚固 的 砖房， 并且 从此 很 努力 地 工作， 过 上 了 幸福 的 生活。
The eldest pig and the second eldest pig have learned a lesson this time. They went home and also built a brick house for themselves. Since then, they have worked hard and lived a happy life.
