外婆桥 (wàipóqiáo The Bridge to Grandma’s Home) is a beautiful and traditional nursery rhyme for kids.
It is said that the seventh Fairy sends her daughter and son to celebrate the birthday for their grandma, but they are stopped by a deep creek.
To help the two kids meet their beloved grandma, another fairy creates a bridge in the creek with her sword. The children are always taught this rhyme to remember the deep love of their grandma.
Children learn Chinese effectively through lively rhythmic ballads. Parents can buy some Chinese nursery rhyme CDs and sing songs with them for children’s Mandarin learning.
