Father’s Day is coming up. Today we’ll learn how to sing this Chinese song for our fathers, and how to say to them “父亲节快乐 (Fùqīnjié kuàilè)” Happy Father’s Day.
Bàba hǎo, bàba hǎo, bàba de lìqi zhēn bù xiǎo.
爸爸 好， 爸爸 好，爸爸 的 力气 真 不 小。
Good Ol’ Dad, Good Ol’ Dad. Dad has great strength.
zuò de duō, shuō de shǎo, zāng huó lèi huó tā quán bāo le.

The antonym of “多 (duō)” is “少 (shǎo).”

Why is it not爸爸节?
In Chinese, the phrase 父亲 is more formal. I think online Chinese teachers are a good choice if you’re having problems with learning Chinese.
Some people in the rural areas of China also call their father 爹. But 爸爸 is the most common usage.
