Learn Chinese through Cartoons, Movies and TV Programs (Teens)
This course helps teens learn Chinese language and culture through popular Chinese Cartoons, Movies and TV Programs. Both new and classic ones will be incorporated into this course: Lotus Lantern, Home with Kids, The Secret of the Magic Gourd, Pleasant Goat and Big Bad Wolf, and many others. Through watching these programs and practicing with the Chinese teacher, your child can improve Chinese language skills as well as gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture.
Level 1
- Teens will learn some basic but classic lines, and also gain the ability to understand the explicit moral or meanings in Chinese cartoons, movies or TV programs.
Level 2
- Teens will learn more complicated dialogues, and understand the implied moral or meanings in Chinese cartoons, movies or TV programs.
Level 3
- Teens will learn to understand fairly complicated plots and cultural connotations in Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs. These lessons will help give teens a broader and deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
